Using Your Stencils IT'S EASY!

 

Stencils are the secret behind producing professional results. Simply follow the steps below to create rooms like the ones on the website.

1. Affix stencil layer #1 to the surface using masking tape.

Our stencils are color separated for ease of application. We recommend starting in the least conspicuous corner of the room to allow for matching at the end.

2. Trace the cut out diamond registration marks with a pencil.

    

3. Apply paint using a pounding or swishing motion.

Blot the brush thoroughly if using liquid paint to ensure clean edges. We recommend liquid acrylic paint available at craft stores.

4. Remove the stencil and move it to the right aligning the left-hand cut out registration marks with those penciled on the wall.

    

5. Trace the right-hand diamond registration marks.

    

6. Repeat steps 3-5 until the space is completed.

    

7. Continue with subsequent layers by aligning the stencil with the existing registration marks.

    

8. Clean the stencil as needed by soaking in warm water and gently removing the paint.
